Antiguo Buenos Aires is a guesthouse in San Telmo Buenos Aires.
San Telmo is a sightseeing must in Buenos Aires. It is one of the oldest districts in Buenos Aires which is reflected in its architecture.Our apartment is only 5 minutes walk from Parque Lezama , one of the city landmark and the setting of many masterpieces of Argentine Literature.
Plaza Dorrego and its antiques market is only 8 blocks away.Regarding transport we have a subway station only two blocks away, and fast connection to anywhere in the city.
Within walking distance we can also find Puerto Madero and Reserva Ecológica as well as Cinemas and bars.
Last but not least we are just a couple of blocks from Barracas one of Buenos Aires most authentic districts and an area facing future projects of restoration.
We offer two elegant bedrooms in an antique 1920´s building, Buenos Aires Golden Age. Our Building is located on the same block where writer Jorge Luis Borges set his famous short story "El Aleph".
The rooms have been decorated with Antique furniture trying to recreate Buenos Aires roaring 20´s and its magic.
As history teachers we really enjoy sharing our knowledge and love for this city.We open our library to the guests providing maps, guides and unique material to make the most of your time in the city. We try to give interesting and useful tips and a non touristic approach about life in Buenos Aires.We own two cats who are also extremely fond of guests.

Brodband Internet and wi-fi are available 24 hours , as well as cable TV , DVD player and CD player.
Bed sheets and towels changed once a week.Electric heaters, air conditioners and fans.
Basic kitchenware for our guests as well as hair driers ,iron and ironing board.There are laundry facilities.
Air conditioner as well as central heating in shared areas.
Maid service twice a month.
All expenses (electricty,gas , taxes and building maintenance fees) are included except for phone calls .However you can use our phone with a prepaid card for either local or international calls. You can also receive calls in our phone. No reservation fees.
